I get that we need an origin account to validate the game, but can someone please explain to me why I am forced to install the game with origin? if I wanted to get the game through origin I would have bought it in origin. I specificly went to buy a physical copy so I won't have to get the game through origin. I fail to see any reason not to install the game normally and just use the origin account to validate the game.

because these days having it digitally is the best way to ensure that the game is yours, having the phsyical copy is nice (im getting one becasue i want the box) and it means that no matter what, that game is tied to your account so if your lose the disks then you dont have to shell out more money, its an unfortunate fact these days but one that is necessary to ensure that you game stays yours

registering the game after you finish installing it also does that, why I need to install it through origin? I mean it even ask me to switch the disks so it does reaadin them while install, why the need to have origin open?

I have to ask, cause i ordered physical copy - All install is on disc or i need to download from Origin? Or your problem is Origin as DRM?

you need the disk to install, but the installation is made through origin. it will open origin and copy it from there but will take data from the disks. honestly I don't get why origin need to be open for that, you can use the account without actually using the client.. worked for dragon age 2
