I can't seem to remember the button that brings up the dialogue wheel during party banter on a controller. The game mentioned it once before, but for the life of me I can't remember what it was.

It's R3/click right stick on your gamepad.

Well, it worked at least once, but that might've been because it was the tutorial for it.

To certain banters, yes. You'll see a dialogue bubble come up on the bottom of the screen and there will be a faint dialogue wheel.

Anyone able to respond on pc using a 360 controller? Right stick not working here,

So I've gotten a few more of these and all of them have worked, it seems that just the banter for when you first enter Val Royeux(or however you spell it) doesn't work.

I am able to respond to some party banter but not all. 

Using mouse and keyboard and it seems to usually pop up on it's own, unless I'm supposed to be able to respond to all banter.

I never got any such tutorial prompt and I am in the Hinterlands exploring around...

 

What button does it for kb/mouse???

Only got one of them, with Solas. Probably the tutorial. :/
