  1. Autoloot. Please please please give us the option to do so. Clicking "take all" every time is a pain. In the previous games this was possible, why not here? At least make "F" second press to take all, if not an autoloot option.
  2. Keybinds: Let us use additional mouse buttons and shift+key binds, etc. I miss my thumb buttons.
  3. Move UI Elements. Let us rearrange everything how we like. ESPECIALLY the minimap. I desperately want to move it to the right side of the screen, where I'm used to looking in *every other game*.
  4. Minimap - I'd like the option to lock the map with North on top and have my character's cursor rotate. This would hugely improve it for me.
  5. Loot - Keep the highlight on loot up longer when pinging. It is often hard to see and I end up spamming the search button. Additionally, the option to automatically highlight all loot would be nice. The search button really doesn't add anything to my gameplay experience. It's a bit annoying, honestly.
  6. Toggle Autoattack instead of holding/spamming. My fingers hurt.

Excellent suggestions ;-)

I've one more

Show/hide helmets option per party member. Could be implemented via a small tick box over the helmet slot

1) I cannot click the ground/items and my character automatically go pick it up
2) Camera does not zoom out enough to be useful in tactical mode
3) Cannot find an option for unlocking camera to selected units when issuing commands (I know it should be there because I watched the KB&M game-play from the devs)
4) Cannot keybind to side mouse buttons.

5) Cannot drag mouse and select characters.

6) No auto-attack, unless in tactical view. (Changing the rules when in 3rd person and tactical, no longer feels like one system, but 2 awkwardly smooshed together.

7) No bound camera to mouse movement w/o holding a button down.

Welp, back to Warlords of Dreanor for me. I'm saved just after the first tactical fight. I'll come back if they ever fix it... but... that being the stipulation, I probably wont ever play the game.

Better framerate. I drop frames like crazy. Might be my specs but I doubt it since I have games with better graphics that can run better.

Just realized that I am also missing terribly: Click to target enemy. Yes, you can click to attack, but I want to simply target without attacking.

In general, I want to be able to click things more. I'm using a mouse for a reason! Click to loot. Click to interact. Etc.

Left Click, by the way. We should really do away with this left click autoattack console-mechanic-holdover nonsense.

Let me rotate the camera by moving the mouse.  This should be standard by now.  Doing that would allow me to free up right click as I'd have left click for attack, and then I could free up R for something useful instead of keeping it on a redundancy.

Let me toggle through party members, too.  I can't hit F1-4 without glancing down at the keyboard.

And a walk function for the keyboard would be nice, too.

Ok Bioware, these instructions should be simple:

Go take the controls of Dragon Age: Origins... and put them into Dragon Age: Inquisition.  The control scheme for the PC version of this game is so awful, but you guys did such a great job with the original game.  Just copy that!

-Scrolling in the tactical view should be as simple as moving the mouse to the edge of the screen

-Remove the snap back when selecting characters to give orders

-Autoattack should be a click, not holding down a mouse button

-Looting should automatically happen when you click from a distance (your character should run up to loot the item)

-Allow drag-box selecting in tactical view

Its seriously painful to play this game as it is.  It feels like a chore in combat when it should be a fun experience.

1. Target Lock in combat

2. Mouse look as default behavior instead of having to hold down the right mouse button constantly.

3. Character Appearance Editor after creation

those are my three biggest complaints right now

Add a disable voice chat or push to talk option for multiplayer.

I tend to use third party voice but can't even do that since this has no way to disable voice chat.

click to move

... please. This is my number one issue. Right-click on distant item: move to item, pick up item. Right-click on distant enemy: move to enemy (for melee), attack enemy. It's a real pain when I play my rogue and I have to keep readjusting my position with WASD just because the enemy decided to move a little and my character found it far more interesting to stab the air.

Also... let us zoom out further. I can't even begin to describe how difficult the wonky targeting / lack of zoom made the first boss fight.

Man I've really been looking forward to DA:I, and I like what I'm seeing, and hearing, but the KB+M controls are a monumental pain.

I know people are talking about wanting more zooming out for a better tactical view but I want more zoom in so I can see my toon better (like DA2) in her armor etc. To me this is part of the RPG "crack" formula... explore an area, kill many monsters, get new armor from looting/buying, put it on my toon and then go "I look awesome". How can I get to the "awesome" part if I can't zoom in to see it?

I do not understand why Bioware would pick such a non standard control scheme.  Right now the control scheme is very similar to Gothic 1.  It is about the worst possible choice rendering it incredibly frustrating.

1.  Choice of click to move like almost all other RPG or facing and direction controlled with mouse orientation and movement with the WASD keys.

2.  Allow mapping of mouse buttons 4 and 5  Typically I use these for Inventory and Quest logs.

3.  Allow user to separately turn off Motion Blur and Depth of Field from post processing in Graphics Options.

I've played Gothic 1 and I do agree the Controls in this game are pretty bad. But not bad enough to destroy the rest of the experience.

I'm only about an hour in, but the lack of click to move, the lack of autoattack except in tactical, no move to loot... this game feels so clunky.  And the tactical camera needs major improvement.  Doesn't zoom far enough out, targeting is not smooth, the annoying snapback (which I understand is a bug)... please please please fix this.

I think anyone that has played this game on a PC knows they are being cheated out of a PC interface, controls and mechanics, but the game looks so damn good that we are still trying to enjoy the game.

My Bioware fan status and IQ is going down by the game.

I guess I should get a Console and stimulate the economy.

Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 started to show the new face of Bioware as EA pawns.

The  Love for developing, quality and innovation is made secondary to the Love of money making.

Dragon Age Origins was very good: amazing play mechanics, nice Interface, great story, a labor of Love you hoped could only get better.

Sadly they sold their Hearts to EA and started the long way down from quality to quantity to just profit.

I guess I was spoiled by the miracle of Dragon Age: Origins.

I could list all the obvious problems that everyone is listing, the disappointment from having dumb down mechanics for the Tactical game and a console Interface and control scheme that is not for PC, but I am pretty sure that Bioware knows all about it, and they knowingly gave us a wanna be PC product hoping the razzle dazzle graphics and fake reviews would keep us opening our wallets.

I guess it still works cause I bought the game, good on you mate, just remember all scams come with a price.

Having said that, this being my last Bioware game I play until they go back to having respect for PC Gamers and some pride.

I will try now to enjoy what actually still works with the game which is mostly the graphics and lore and I will for the last time put up with this new travesty of having a common interface for all platforms.

DAI is still a lot cheaper than going to the movies, where I would have to pay a lot more for 100 hours of mindless viewing.

Not what I expected DAI to be, I thought they had actually listened to people and gone back to greatness.

That's all Folks, dream on, game on!

Yep all they needed to do was duplicate DA1 controls, it is a real shame. I still like the game but it is frustrating at times.

You can loot/read from a middle distance by right clicking over the highlighted item, but LOL doesn't work from a distance. Whoops! Seems broken.

As I play more the search button has become more and more frustrating to me. I'm spending my time pinging constantly while running around, rather than enjoying exploring the world around me. It's a disconnect from simply LOOKING for interesting things around me. Instead I am looking for what my ping just highlighted, without thinking about what else I'm looking at.

I would much prefer all lootable items have a sparkle (or just leave the highlight on) at all times. Maybe make this something to toggle on as an option? Those who don't want it don't have to use it.

Looting should be a natural result of exploring/looking around you. The search button is basically a really redundant "look around" mechanic. Why? I can just *actually use my eyes* to look around me.

The only situation in which this mechanic *might* make sense is for hidden items, or a special quest to find something buried, etc. But it's already a gimmicky mechanic. It distracts from the immersion of the game.

Having to spam this button is keeping me from playing the game right now. I really don't want to do it for hundreds of hours. This along with the other limitations to the PC interface makes the game very frustrating to navigate. I can tell there is an amazing game waiting for me behind this sloppy interface.

If anyone at Bioware is listening, I really, really want to believe that you guys care about us PC players. But until something happens to show that, I'm pretty disappointed. It feels like an interface designed for a controller, with no attention given to Mouse+Keyboard settings. The entire point of having a mouse is to be able to click things to interact with them. This is a beautifully intuitive and direct experience. It feels like this has been entirely ignored.

I'm with you 100% on your post. I can deal with the controls and some of the limited character options...

But the search/ping thing is driving me INSANE. Just give me a toggle to have everything that is interactable highlighted. That's all I need. I can deal with the rest for now. But the search function is just irritating as all get out.

2)An effin' PC UI without elephant sized elements that require constant scrolling and an ungodly amount of clicking.
