As I feared, motion blur and DoF are forced upon us. Please give the option to turn them off completely. This would have the side effect of improving performance too! Thanks. :)

How about doing something to fix the incredibly long loading times?

For #1, the auto-loot key is space.

If this works, that's good to know. However, it still seems ridiculous to me to have to use 2 buttons to loot, every time. I want 1 click or 1 keypress, because we're doing it so often in this game it gets extremely tedious.

I'm with you 100% on your post. I can deal with the controls and some of the limited character options...

But the search/ping thing is driving me INSANE. Just give me a toggle to have everything that is interactable highlighted. That's all I need. I can deal with the rest for now. But the search function is just irritating as all get out.

Its annoying in the Witcher 2, and its annoying here too. I know that highlighting everything is unrealistic but I'm not a sumarine or a metal detector  . I have no radar or sonar and I'm pretty sure mages in thedas can't use their powers to search for treasure :P . If they could also impliment the control sceme changes above I'd be grateful ;)

1) Give me a damn auto-attack. This is ridiculous.

2) Let me zoom in more, I feel like I'm really far away from my characters.

3) Let me click on an item and have my character walk over and loot/interact with it. Seriously, you have to be on top of something to interact, I can be standing a foot away, click on it, and nothing will happen.

All of these things were features in the first 2 games, and they worked great. I don't understand why they were taken away.

Get a ssd. Also google the fixes for battlefield 4. Also try symlinking *.cas formated files onto a USB drive or a SSD

The DRM that the EA****** are pushing on us reduce the lifespan of an SSD by constantly writing to it. A HDD is fine, SSD will break down much faster.

2) Let me zoom in more, I feel like I'm really far away from my characters.

This drives me crazy, and makes the game feel less immersive to me. It was one thing I really disliked in DA Origins. I don't understand why, in a "next gen" game, we can't zoom in at least a bit more. And in combat the camera backs away even further, making the characters look tiny.

Also the ability to walk really should have been in the game to begin with. Hopefully they will fix this. There are a few other issues with the controls but I don't think this is enough to return the game. If they address some of the concerns people are having I think It could be a really great game.

 Space is jump.

This is exactly what my post is about.
http://forum.bioware...se-pc-controls/

The (A) button is typically "Jump" and "Interact" on consoles. They just didn't separate the functionality when porting the controls to PC where typically (SPACE) is "Jump" and (E) is "Interact". So even if you want to rebind the "Loot-All" to (E), now "Jump" will also be (E) because they are bound from the controller setup.

(Clarification: Not sure if that is the case as they may have made "Loot-All" a separate function in the keybindings, but I doubt it based on the question being posed in the first place.)

/signed.

Plus what all the others have said before me. Everything in this thread is spot on.

No need to repeat anything. Maybe consolidate in the OP?
