So who is everyone's favorite romance?

 

 

 

So far I've only tried Cullen and it looks like it'll only be him. The crew of DAI doesn't catch my eye.   Their banter is great to hear and it's interesting to find what makes them tick,  but I've little interest in taking the romance road with them. The only male inquisitor I made is solely for Cassandra. 

 

I've already finished two rounds with female human inquisitors and with Cullen. I don't mind doing the same romance since the Keep tapestry can be tinkered with and different decisions taken with certain events in the story.

Ha, interesting, I'm a male gamer and ever since I tried playing a female character in Mass Effect 1 (my whife talked me in to it, she said that if I played as a fem she would sit through the whole game with me) I have not done otherwise ever since, if a game gives me the option to be female, I'll take it. Blame the original Metroid for that one, ever since Samus was revealed I always wanted more fem protagonists, so now I only play fems... elves if given the option .

 

Having said that, I'm definitely doing a fem Qunari play through, I was pretty happy with my Dalish girl and I thought BW did a good job with race specific dialog options and how you're referred to in different locations for being an Elf (some townfolk would even look down on you for being Dalish... TAKE THAT Skyrim!!!) even Cass mentions at one point how she thinks it's great that the fate of Thedas is being decided by a woman again, and that being a Dalish elf makes even greater cause it's a testament of how you've risen from the very bottom.

This is my Cadash. I originally had intended to make her blonde as a in-joke to the "sun-touched" insult that Orzammar dwarves have for their surface brethren, but I was ultimately inspired by the redheaded warrior dwarf card at the CC. She is a 2H warrior with a violent Carta background (escorted caravans, ambushed by rivals, etc). I love her. I love all the dwarf references in the game. I love Aeducan/Brosca writing a letter to Cadash. I love Blackwall asking about her Carta background. I love Varric and listening to his views on being a surface dwarf. I love my dwarf bed -- Lady Aeducan would KILL to have Cadash's room -- and all the dwarven decorations throughout the place! (I wish there had been a dwarven throne, but not gonna get too greedy!) I squealed when I saw the nug mount!! (I had hoped for a Bronto, maybe, but this was sublime!) I LOVE THE LEGION OF THE DEAD ARMOR! This was a great game.

@Gilsa, your Cadash has to be the best dwarf girl I've ever seen. So very well done. She looks like she was a joy to play the game with.

Here is my Trevelyan, Mae. She's a rich girl who didn't take life seriously until she was forced to become an apostate and then the Inquisitor. She fell for a guy named Blackwall rather unexpectedly.

I ALWAYS play as a female protagonist.

I even asked my self why?
Is it because women are beautiful and sexy? Do I have a mother complex?

No, the answer is simple: I started playing PC games in 1995. The first exiting game I played was Tombraider. The game was so full of atmosphere, even with limited ressources at the time. I found Lara Croft extremely cool.

And all my heroes has been female ever since. That's just how it is.

... and, well, there is something special about tough women. Like Demi Moore as GI Jane and Sigourney Weaver as Ripley. Those women rock!

So what are people's preferences in race for their lady quizzys? Planning on rolling multiple of the same or dip your toes in some different races?

I think this might be the first time I play a female elf, not a big fan usually (I blame stereotypes of female elves in the media, you know the 'ethereal beauty' trope in fiction) but I think I'm keen now!

 

I'm stuck with elves I'm afraid. Humans are boring for me, and Qunari are... I can't really describe why I don't want to play them yet without sounding silly. I think its the hair to be honest, or the lack of it. I did manage to create a really sexy Qunari lady, maybe when mods come out I will remake one.

I actually quite like the dwarves, so maybe my 3rd playthrough.

Well, presenting Elena Trevelyan. Romancing a certain ex-templar (and won't be able to romance anyone else in all PT...).

 

I'm trying to RP her as fiery, compassionate person.

 

 

Since I'm a woman myself, I always play female characters first if possible. It helps with the RP. Then maybe some male character later with definite RP.

While I did create three different Inquisitors already (each with different Keep backround) I am currently so totally in love with my first Inquisitor, Sirid Adaar, that I cannot help but keep playing her story.

 

 

She and Iron Bull go to kill high dragons during their dates. Talk about difficult romances...

There was unforseen consequence for my choice Sirid having yellow eyes; at Well of Sorrows, she, Morrigan and Abelas were having clearly club meeting, consisting people with same eye color

Human inquisitor. Nothing special, generic face, but I like to think this version of Trevellyan probably didn't stand out a great deal before becoming Herald. Apologies for second ss... looks "awkward" but shows the face well

Edit: She ended up more made up than I intended but after realizing scars were not on the 360 version (which I'm still a touch bitter over) I had thrown out my old design and made this one up on the fly.

Here is my dwarven lady, Merry Cadash. She's rogue archer tempest and she's in relationship with Blackwall. As much as I hate human centric plot of DA:I I really love my heroine.
