I really can't find tactics interface in the game. all i got is the behavior things and the potion manage but the Ability tactic like in DA:O and DA:2 is not there, My companion just keep spamming every spell/skill they got even when they shouldn't, They would suddenly use Barrier when battle start and Dispel even when I don't have any debuff on and charge in so close that they got caught in AOE damage so please help me, I really don't want to control my whole team in every fight.

Inquisition has no such feature.

Yup, sadly advanced tactics like in the previous DA games are out.

But you can work with what you've got. For one thing, I imagine there are only certain spells/talents which the AI is pretty dumb at using effectively. You can tell your companions not to use certain spells, and leave them for you to activate manually.

It's a huge step backwards, but it's the best we've got to work with, sadly.

It really makes the combat a lot more shallow especially when those abilities are going off whenever and you can't really save them for combos unless you disable them entirely.

For some reason, Bioware decided to take it out. Barrier is a pain when Solas won't keep using them randomly and I don't want to micromanage it in every tiny little fight.
