I was wondering if theirs any complaints on the graphic quality on the current generation console? Is their any issues whatsoever?

I'm debating whether or not I should order myself a PS4 or Xbox one.... I'm leading more on PS4 since I don't honestly care about the extra crap that xbox has. I want a powerful system that can handle extreme graphics.

There aren't any graphical issues on the PS4 that I have seen. The only issues I have heard of are very minor bugs.

I have to wait another couple of days but according to the forums it looks promising so far.

This is my experience. on ps4 DISC. Somehow there were tiny lags and then pop ins. I was confused cuz this is next gen. But upon rebooting the system I haven't seen anything happen. Very smooth and gorgeous. And if it's graphics you are after get ps4 cuz generally in other games too it has a slight edge over Xbox one. Also if I were you I would download it off PSN.

The animation can be a bit jittery and kind of awkward at times.

And the menu is to slow for my liking, especially in the CC, if I want to scroll quickly down to the eyebrow style, the menu moves slowly no matter if my controller is all the way down.

Had an issue with people calling the Champion "He" instead of she (Mine was a girl in my Keep download) and then I just made a new character and this time around it worked a charm.

It's running great on mine (downloaded the deluxe edition). However, my building's network is more restricted and doesn't allow multiplayer online connections so I can't access the keep to import my world state without changing my NAT settings. But that's an idiosyncratic issue. I think the game is awesome. So much so, I won't mind playing it again when I can import my world state.  I've had zero glitches but really minor and infrequent pop ins.

Xbox One version is running smoothly. (I own a PS4, too, but I joined EA Access to get it early on Xbox One).

On a technical level, it (the digital version) runs perfectly. Frame rate is solid.

Another factor for getting on Xbox One is the controller. The PS4 controller is good, but the Xbox One controller is on another level.

PS4 version here. The game is great and steady. Quick loading. There are some minor lagging during cutscenes though, also minor bugs like staying in combat stance and not receiving the deluxe items yet...

I tried this because I was experiencing the same bug with Varric. Are there other people that refer to Hawke's gender besides Varric? I really don't want to have to restart the game. I've already put about 7 hours total into two characters!

-Keep not working

-Not being able to connect to the Servers

-Save games getting corrupted

-Gender issues

Found those in the technical issues subforum, but only with around 4-5 posts per thread so they may be very rare bugs. The majority of PS4 players seem to have a good time :)

Seems pretty good to me so far, except a few minor graphical errors and my warden was referred to by the wrong pronouns.  That might be a Keep issue though.  I've seen some stuff about NPCs not recognizing Inquisitors gender correctly, but I think that was a cross-platform problem.

From time to time when in Haven I can't talk to my companions( no X above head). Also sometimes when in chat I can't select a response without holding down L1 first. The game also freezes for a second to load every time i walk up the stairs at Haven and occasionally when I am out in the other areas. Twice I couldn't switch between characters until I restart game. One of my characters had his teeth on the outside of his face when I got into the game, during character creation he looked fine but once I got in the game his teeth were on the outside of his face.

Good to hear that it's working so good for most of you guys. :) Can hardly wait for tomorrow. :D

Not a bug.

DAI Tip: To find the red lyrium weapons, you will need to recruit an arcanist to the Inquisition. Wartable operation avail. in Skyhold.

DAI Tip: Certain unlocks (bonus horse, crafting recipes for Flames set, etc) are awarded as story progresses in delivery chests.

From Mike Laidlaw on twitter.

Hope that helps. :)

I think the vast majority of complaints center around the control scheme on PC since the tactical camera is extremely poorly executed. It doesn't zoom out far enough outdoors and indoors it's constrained by the ceilings and walls, making it zoom out even less. Console games never use this mode anyway and don't really try to control multiple characters at once as PC players tend to want to do. As a result, none of this bothers them--they are happy to run up to the enemy and mash the attack button, completely ignoring any party strategy or controlling their whole group of 4 characters. Thus console players really should not have much of an issue with this game. On PC though, especially given players' expectations of being able to control the entire party, this game is basically unplayable.

I have played all the games on console and I always use the whole party. That's one of the most fun parts in the games, switching and giving orders.

I had a minor bug where my character walked up a slight incline of a fireplace and sort of jumped back down but got stuck in that position. I could move him around the map but he was levitating with his head down and knees up. It was really odd. It went away when I tried to use my weapon. No big deal but amusing.

I've been bugless so far. Except for one, actually. My character's voice set randomly turns female when he jumps. And ONLY when he jumps.... it's strange.

Graphics wise... THE GAME IS SO PRETTY. Load times are not bad (less than Assassin's Creed Unity). Game itself is fantastic, and the sidequests are well narrated and thought out. Why collect bear claws you ask? Check your journal, there's a fantastic (completely true) reason. Many quests are actually fully voiced too, others, I've noticed, tend to at least have one situational comment from someone in your party.

Tactical camera doesn't zoom out far enough, and sometimes it can get waaaay too close.

Just a question. How many saves can you have on PS4? A friend of mine said that PS3 can only hold 25 saves but the saves get corrupted after 20. Anybody had any problems with the saves?
