Don't remember my 360 ones, but my PC ones are Simon Tabris, and Terra Brosca

I choose Simon, because... well.. it felt simple and honest. Plus a name theme...Shianni, Soris, Simon...gotta roll with them S names.

Terra, because well...dwarf....earth.......y'know? LOL.

My first Warden (my avatar) is a DC named Cheery, after Cheery Littlebottom from the Discworld - was a bit disappointed I couldn't change her surname. My second (never quite finished that playthrough) was a male City Elf called Sorren, can't remember where that came from, it wasn't intentionally similar to his cousin's name. Third (abandoned, wasn't happy with a couple of choices both in-game and mod-wise) was a female City Elf called Devra, because the Elf language reminds me of a mix of Welsh and Hebrew, but Hebrew names (slightly 'creatively' spelled, e.g. Devra is from Devorah) seem to fit in better, so my current playthrough is a female Elf mage named Tikva ("tikvah" being Hebrew for "hope", seemed appropriate.)

Mind if I share?

I first played through Origins knowing nothing about the plot, world, or lore, and wanted to play a human because I thought it would be the easiest way to relate to new things. In the character creator, I sat and thought for ages what to name my character (I just didn't like the sound of Elissa), so I eventually gave up and used my own middle name: Rose. This created some weirdness later on, particularly with the Proving announcer who tried to tell me that a fairly common flower and past tense of a verb is a "burr to pronounce." But that did make me laugh. It also made a certain romance scene make me shake my head.

My boyfriend, on the other hand, is much more... shall we say "creative" about his characters' names. He took an instant liking to the City Elf background, and named him Tabri Tabris. His actual first and last name are almost identical, so this is how he forms bonds with his characters. His orc in Skyrim is Verex gro-Verex. I'm just impressed that he didn't run around in Mass Effect with a poor guy named Shep Shepard.

Actually, a number of my characters are named after MEverse planets etc, such as Imaen, Utha and Faia.

It's a little sad but if I'm doing and "evil" playthrough as a mage, I tend to think back to the baddies in Charmed! They always had sinister sounding names - I'm particularly fond of Belthazor.

Human Noble, it's got to be Alexander (My name!)

I'm a bit obsessed with the Matter of Britain, so my male City Elf Warden is Sagramor (yes, the same Sagramor from my fanfics, hint hint, nudge nudge :) ), while my female Elven Mage Warden is Nimue.

Elven names are tough, so for my elven Warden I just went with the default one.

As for the others:

Human noble: Victoria

Dwarf Commoner: Helga

Mage: Edward

My Warden was a female Mage. I named her Lydia Amell. She had long blonde hair with two braids in front and large brown eyes and dark eyebrows. My noble was a brunette with green eyes and her name was Liza Cousland.

My canon Warden (and only one so far, oh dear) is Leesya Surana, female Circle Mage.

She was born in the Denerim Alienage, where her parents gave her a name that was meant to sound vaguely human-ish. Didn't QUITE succeed there, but it still has a very nice ring to it, I think.

My canon Warden was Aidyn Cousland, so she was a human rogue.  She managed some pretty nifty motions against Zevran, even.  I tend to RP it, that Oriana brought some "servants" with her from Antiva when she married Fergus.  So basically my Aidyn managed to learn some better than average techniques in dual-hand blade combat from a Crow bodyguard that traveled with Oriana.

The first warden I ever played was a Female Dwarf Noble Warrior named Belanka. I then played through as a Female Human Noble Rogue named Alexia (who is my cannon), and a Female Elven Circle Mage named Caradwyn. :)

Male DC was Yuri, female was Elsa. Male DN was Durnan (because I recently replayed Shadows of Undrentide), female was Ingrid. I tend to go for Scandinavian and Germanic names for dwarves.

My CE was Kali, like the goddess of destruction. :P

I'll be playing my Dalish Warden again in the near future and I'm trying to think of a new name for him.

"Theron" doesn't sound elven in the slightest.

It is already taken, my canon mage Warden.
