How does one do this in combat or during the game on a console?  In the Inventory screen, I press "Up" on the D-pad, but I can't figure it out in game.  I'm sure it's simple (and I'll feel dumb when someone tells me how), but I've tried every button and can't do it.  Admittedly, I'm in the prologue, but still.

Nevermind.  I had to wait until I was more than half-way through the Prologue.
