so I just checked my save and it took me 59 hrs for first play through and I only hit lvl 50....i never got out of the marko for kills

Around 80+ , It took me so damn long because I thought that the collection assignments were important.

23 1/2 hours for me, doing a lot of the sidequests as well, ended at level 47.

My first run was 54 hours, level 50 is the cap for your first game and I hit it. I do the whole things plus all side quests in about 25 hours now though.

My first run was in the mid thirties, and I missed quite a few planets and side quests. Subsequent runs have been around 24hrs, and I've done just about everything on those.

As for level, my first char was 46, second 49 (just short of 50), third 50, fourth 53.

I think my first play was about 50(+) hours and I didn't even get all the side quests. My last run (my fourth) was about 25 hours, completed 95% of side quests and most of the collections.

Personally for me was around 45 hours first playthrough. I tried to do all the mineral side quests, also I took my time to read codec and pay attention to dialog, as it is what makes the game so good.



However my friend said he could beat it in roughly 30 hours level 60 in one playthrough, with experience achievements anyway. I told him to prove it He also said he skipped through every dialog quickly as possible.

First playthrough was about 50+ hours with not to many side quests being completed.

2nd playthrough without the level 50 cap finished at 48hrs and finished all side quests final level was 58.

Very first was about 45-50hrs, and that was doing everything. Now I can do it in about 35hrs.

Your friend is a liar. I've yet to see any credible claim that you can hit level 60 in one playthrough (without cheating).

Your friend IS a liar.  The most you can get is level 50 in your first playthrough.  To unlock levels 51-60, you need to finish a level 50 playthrough and unlock the achievement.

Your friend IS a liar.  The most you can get is level 50 in your first playthrough.  To unlock levels 51-60, you need to finish a level 50 playthrough and unlock the achievement.

BUT only if it wasnt his first playthrough.  I maxed out a character befor in one playthrough just by doing the Completionist achievement.  Did 100% of all quests.  But Im not sure if thats doable in 30 hours...

How did it take you guys so long to beat the game? I did every sidequest, all the collection missions, and i beat 2 playthroughs in less than 50 hours. How can you fill up the time that much? Is there some enemy respawn thing I didn't know about?

Took me roughly 10 hours to finish the game. You guys have some big numbers.

about 40 hours and around 95% of all collectibles. Most if not all the side missions.

 I think my second playthrough was about 12 hours and I thought I did a lot of the sidethings, drove around in the (what is the name again?) carthingy forever or at least it felt like forever. How can you be up in 50+ 60+ and even more hours?

The only feasable explanation for taking 80 hours is that they explored every square inch of map with the MAKO in grid fashion...or they danced at FLUX for 50 hours.

I did all the sidequests, listened to most of the dialog, found all the extraneous debris and junk lying around the planets, scanned all the planets, and it still only took me 25 hours to beat the first time.

Very fast with everything done about 42h.

30-40 hours including every side quest; ended up at level 49.

Second playthrough (with my main Shepard) I beat at level 58. I was so mad that I was only 2 levels away from the cap.

Started playing other games and just now started the third playthrough to get the level 60 cap; but the game comes out tomorrow, so so much for that.

He's still lying.  You can't go from level 1 to level 60 in one playthrough legitimately.

my first pass through was 50 or so hours but that was reading everything...when you go to replay and know the choices you can trim it down a bit. I had to replay before ME2 and it took me 28 hours with completionist achievement on normal (lvl 49)
