About 70 hours for me. I had so much fun exploring those damned planets, and once I found that fancy little 'trinket monument' place, I was a hopeless. I explored every dark side of every rock in that place and enjoyed every minute of it. These ally speed-runs are taking me about 25 hours.

I made it through a few minutes over 30 hours... I think I did almost everything the game had to offer, and reached lvl 50, but I must have missed a lot if you guys are in the 50's and 60's!

Gumbeaux, the level cap is only for the very 1st play tho. After that you can get up to level 60 in one play though if its possible. The most amount of levels I got in one pass was 54 and i did everyone in and under the sun.

I assume this means he beat it in 30hrs with a level 60 character? Seeing as it's not possible to get to level 60 in one playthrough.

Just over 35 on my first play, I hit 50, and got a large amount of acheivements. I have to level 60's that I wanted to run through to set them up for ME2...and well I figure it should take around 50hrs to get them both there.

~30-33 hrs average over my 6-7 different full playthroughs. I hit level 50 the first time through with most of the achievements and hit level 56 on my last vanguard playthrough.

I don't feel like turning on my 360 to check, but... I believe I beat it the first time (without DLC, since that came out sometime later) around 23 or so hours. I think. The second play took me a bit longer, well the NG+ said it was 50 hrs. because of BDTS. The 3rd play thru made it 88 hrs because of both DLCs used.



That was my 1st Shep. My 2nd Shep. took abour 33 hrs to complete w/o a NG+, because of the harder difficulty.



LvLs:

Male Shepard:

1st time: 48

2nd time: 57

3rd time: 60



Female Shepard:

1st and only time: 55 (because I opened the cap with Male Shep. and on Harder Difficulty)

45 for my first character a male paragon soldier, 44 for my 2nd character, a female renegade infiltrator and am currently doing an NG+ with her and I reckon am going to be shaving some time off again as seem to be flying through the quests at moment even with doing all the kills completely on foot.

My longest playthrough took me about 38 hours and I reached level 54 (but I did a lot of exploring / sidequests) the latest one took me only 12 hours and I reached level 39 but stayed on the main storyline only.

He's still lying.  You can't go from level 1 to level 60 in one playthrough legitimately.  

Pretty sure you can I made it to level 55 in one playthrough with only a 5% boost and not getting out to destroy things until after the first planet I visited.  He skipped the dialog because he's beat it 10 times, nothing new happens.  Although I'm not going to get into some heated debate on the subject, it matters not if people believe me, I know what happend =D

I don't think you can. I played through recently (with all achievement bonuses) doing every single assigment, killed everything on foot and only managed level 58. The jumps in experience between 57-58, 58-59 and 59-60 are very big. The jump between 59 and 60 in particular is massive.

I honestly don't know if it is possible to do 1 to 60 in 1 shot but without focusing on the side quest and exploration a full playthrough takes me between 12-15hrs. It would need to be tested but in 2 playthrough of 15hrs it might be possible to reach 60.

My first play through I finished in around 30 hours, but I didn't end up doing all the side quests or anything. But now I can play it in about 25 hours and do all the side quests.

I put in 131 hours and some change on 3 play throughs (average of 43 hours a pop) in order to max out Shephard's level, money, and make sure I explored every nook & cranny on that last playthrough for the ME2 import.

Hmm... I think I'm gonna have to play #2 to see how my choices impacted it.  I got everything the first play through and then quickly went through the 2nd play through just to get a level 60 char.  We'll see, maybe I went about it the wrong way.  Time will tell.

I am one of those players who likes to take their time, wander around, admire the view, y'know? And then I'll be off (in the real world!) in the kitchen boiling the kettle or getting a beer from the fridge and I won't have paused the game and those minutes all add up....

Incidentally, I don't believe you can make level 60 in 2 playthroughs. Obviously it cannot be done in 1 playthrough. But 2nd playthrough I reached 57 (killing EVERYTHING on foot, all missions, all of the bloody rocks & gases etc.)...how can you reach 60 in just 2 play throughs? Two games don't contain enough XP!!!

For me it was 56hrs getting to level 55. I missed out on a few side missions. My second playthrough as a new character was actually a lot longer as I did it completionist. I then about a year later did it completionist again to get to level 60 and have her ready for ME2.

I can complete a speed run in roughly 20 hours (with time for answering my 3 year old) and it gets me about level 37 with minimal side quests.



My first multi-completed character has 90 hours of game play time.



ps- finished the game approximately 20 times now. Doing another play through again now.

I finished in less than 13 hrs, but I was rushing through. Wanted to finish by this weekend since I preorderd ME2. It's funny, considering I had ME1 sitting around for 2 years.
