I was able to access the map once to leave a marker for my destination, but now I can't figure out how to access it again. Can anyone remind me what button or what menu I have to go to, in order to view the map (both local and world maps)?

Press start to open the main menu, map is right in the middle.

It's the left button on the directional buttons for PS4, so that might be the same for PS3 as well? It did take me some time to figure that out though, more than I'm proud to admit because I didn't read the tutorial pop-ups carefully enough I guess.
