Wasn't there supposed to be one?
I'm holding out vain hope that it'll fix some of the bugs that have since completely borked this playthrough for me...

Platform?
PC.
Obviously PCPlatform?
Oh I can't say anything then.
PS4 here ![]()
The "Day One" patch was already included with the game installation. Go into your program files and navigate to the dragon age inquisition folder. If you search around, there's a folder called "Patch".
Well, balls.
Guess I'm waiting until the next one to continue. :/

what kind of bug did you encounter?
I'm curious what the Day 1 patch fixed in the first place.
And yeah, what bug did you encounter? Or bugs?
Wait, consoles don't get the patch? There are bugs outside of the PC I imagine or no?

We get but it's automatically installed, without it we can't even play the game

Some PC gamers are having the joy of the game freezing or crashing within minutes and have taken to desperately searching and doing every little solution that they find in order to make it stop to no avail even though they meet the minimum requirements and beyond (at least, that's what I'm doing :/).
In relation to the patch I saw in other forums that people have contacted EA and they're saying that it's a problem with the Engine; they're working on something that'll take 1 week-1 month. Not sure if that's true, but would be greatly appreciated.

I was one of those people for the first three hours I had the game. What eventually worked was turning off Fraps (booo!), then wiping my AMD drivers and re-installing them with the beta patch. It was a pain in the ass.
As for bugs, nothing I've encountered has been game-breaking ... except for the voice switch bug, which actually made me cry.
Most problems can be solved by (fresh) reinstalling drivers and cleaning the PC from any conflicting software like MSI Afterburner, FRAPS, etc...
As a result, those issues are basically the PC player's fault for not properly maintaining their PC. DAI is a good ole slap in the face to make you realize that if you want to play on the PC you gotta put in the effort. It's not like consoles.
For those that still have issues that cannot be resolved no matter how hard they try, I hope BioWare releases a patch to address their problems ASAP. ![]()

I have not played yet, but I DO have MSI, but do not have any overlay for it, but I do send my gpu temp and cpu usage to my lcd on my keyboard. I also have MIRILLIS ACTION running.
Would that make it conflict? The only overlay thing running will be ACTION and whatever bullshit Origin has.
I've had invisible enemies. Not being able to tell anyone else in tac mode to do something and the mouse not working unless you right click firs
Was just reading the readme and it mentions issues with programmes which have an overlay (such as FRAPS) causing lag or crashes.
It also mentions something about running the game in full screen with two monitors of different orientations.
