There is enough negative threads going around and there are plenty of bugs to report. Honestly though the constant stream of negativity could possibly turn people away from the game entirely. The majority of the things wrong can be fixed and not EVERYONE is having trouble. So lets not all abandon ship and burn Bioware studios to the ground.

Lets get a little good karma going in the forum for a bit and lets start laying out what makes the game good.

Instead of naming everything you hate about the game, just tell people what you have liked so far.

For me...

- Game is gorgeous

- Love the casting animations for my Mage so far.

- LOADS to do. I never feel like I have nothing to do.

- Massive world scale.

- Good voice acting

- Only a single bug that was fixed by creating a new character (PS4)

- Really liking the variety between the classes. Truly feels like each character I make with feel completely unique.

I liked how since I'm getting it for Xbox One, I won't have to deal with most of these technical problems and bugs

Well, you can get a refund if you bought it on Origin. They give you like 24 hours to refund it if you are unhappy.

Which is nice, because no one likes buying a game, not being able to play it, but having lost the money. Even steam as much as I prefer them over origin in just about every other way, they don't let you refund anything like, ever.

Haha.

I'll use consoles only for console exclusives, that's my principle.

Even though the problems that people are having are going to be fixed?

I would understand returning it if they said it would never be fixed, but this game has not be out for a whole 24 hours yet.

People need to stop jumping to conclusions and let Bioware fix the issues that some people are having.

Yes. DA:I is beautiful, the world feels really interesting, the voice-overs are spot-on... and I have great hopes for the story, which has always been BW's strong point. Secretly, I'm praying that the "Skyrim hype train" hasn't run the story into the ground (just like Skyrim did).

All that said, the PC controls are horrible even post-player-adjustment (click-to-move *cough*) and severely distract from an otherwise almost-perfect game. =(

You misunderstand, with origin you have to refund it within 24 hours after starting the game or you no longer can at all. Wouldn't it suck if you paid them, then the issues were never solved and you could not refund it anymore? It's better to refund it, and then purchase when they are actually solved to negate the risk. Also Lords of the Fallen had the same problems that DAI seems to be having, and they were not fixed yet for a vast majority of the people.

I get you are trying to be positive here, and I admire that, but you are also jumping to conclusions here as well. People are upset and have a right to be so, while at the same time they should be level headed I agree with you on that much.

Yeah, when I tried it I found that the controller was actually easier to use even in tactical view. Some people will want to use PC controls and they should be able to, but in the meantime it can be played rather well with a controller I found- assuming the game runs for you of course.

Tbh it looks like the world has more "in it" than Skyrim does even, but I couldn't get enough hands on to really tell.

Well I was one of those people that took the no pre-order wait and see approach, and judging from what I;ve read, and more importantly what my best friend had to say about it, it will be a while before I pick this up.  I play on PC too, and I have just never liked using a controller on the PC, kind of defeats the purpose of playing on the PC to me.  Some things sound interesting, others not really my thing.

As far as PC play goes I'll keep an eye on news about patches, and enhancements via new drivers, but for now I'm really thinking that I made the right choice waiting on this one,

Speak for yourself.....me, like a lot of people apparently, can't even get it installed.  The advice on the Technical forums is not working either.  Frustration.

It seems the VAST majority of issues resides on the PC.

I have been playing on my PS4 and only had a single bug that was easily fixed. Since then I have not had a single hiccup.

I'm having more than fun with the game.  The controls, ps4, take  a bit getting use to.  Jump being the same as picking up things.  Overall, I'm having fun.  I came into knowing there would be bugs and prayed like hell none would be game breaking....you know.

I'm so jealous that all of you are playing and I have to wait until Friday before it is even released for me. *sad panda*

I did play the 6 hour trial though and I loved it! Loved how my quizzy looked, loved the graphics and animations. Combat was a bit slower than DA2 and more reminiscent of DAO but I adjusted pretty quickly. Tac-cam was great once I realized I had to use the directional pad to select my companions. Didn't encounter any bugs that were noticeable to me and the only thing I had a problem with was jump being the button used to attack in the previous two games so for a while I was constantly trying to jump my enemies into submission. Yeah, I looked pretty flippin' sweet.

Any who, overall I think the game is great and am really hoping I get it delivered first thing Friday morning so I don't have to stand there waiting pathetically at the window for a courier van to pull up. I know a lot of people are having issue and that sucks, but it isn't like BioWare aren't going to be do nothing to resolve those issues. We all know that they will be working their butts off to fix them, even if some don't want to admit that to themselves.
