Does anyone know where, outside of the apostate cave, that I could find onyx in the hinterlands?

I know there are quite a few chunks in the wolf lair near redcliffe farms.
Best to get the quest to find out why wolves getting twicthy in the region and killing 2 birds with one stone, you get the quest from the horse masters wife.

Hijacking thread, how the literal **** do you get the apostate cache in the bottom of the map??? It's on top of a hill and there is NO way up

I believe it's actually in a cave under the hill. If I'm thinking of the same one. Posting from work though, can't confirm, sorry.

I had trouble with this too, but I found it last night. It's actually NOT up on top of the mountain. The quest marker is bugged. Instead, it's just inside the purple, circular border that tells you you're near the area. Just follow along that circular border and you'll find it. It's at the base of a tree about halfway between the entrance to Winterwatch Tower and the gateway that takes you out of the region.
