Being on my fourth xbox, yes fourth
...I tend to take certain precautions because as we all know the 360 has many problems with overheating. Most importantly, I always install any game I play to my hd to cut down on the wear and tear done to the console, and to cut down on the noise as well, it's not a quiet console. Sadly though there is no option for this which makes no sense whatsoever. I have never seen a game do this, and it is very disappointing, I hate having to listen to my 360 while I'm playing, and besides turning the volume up louder than normal, there's always that worry about the game killing yet another xbox. Just wondering what other people think about the lack of an installation option for the play disk.
No install for disk 2!?

Sounds like a broken logic loop.
Maybe the fault isn't with DAI's lack of Disc 2 install...

Very strange, because there is a digital version for PS3. So it is possible to stream everything from the HDD.

I have not received my copy for 360 yet, but the news of this is annoying to me. I hope that it will be patched to give us the option to install the play disc. The solution I'd been using for GTA V was to put the install disc on a flash drive and the play disc on my HDD. I don't care if the manufacturer considers this to be less than optimal. Given that I am already aging on a last-gen system, pop-in doesn't bother me as much as wear and tear to my system.
yeah, that's what I did with gta as well except the other way around, install on my HDD and play disk on a flash drive. I really hope that they find a way to fix this though, the xbox I'm using now has lasted longer than my first three combined...lol, but being one of the older fat ones it's loud and annoying when it has to run the disk constantly and I have to turn the volume up much louder than normal to drown out the console.
