At the War table, there was both the operation for Clan Lavellan and something about the Trevelyan family (spelling?) that implied that my Inquisitor was both an elf and a human. Unless somehow the elf is related to the human?
There were also a few weird things about how my game started out.
Sequence of events:
1) Create new game, new character (elf, dual-wielding rogue, female, normal)
2) Import Dragon Age Keep
3) Start new game. --> Did not like how my character looked
4) Exit to Menu
EDITED TO ADD:
- I think somewhere between step 4 and step 5, I may have started yet another game, but just to play around with the character creator. Since I did not like how my original elf looked, I just wanted to create a new game to play around with the character creator. This time around, I opted for a human female, did not import Dragon Age Keep (so used default world), and played around with some face settings. I may have started the prologue for 2 minutes before quitting. I did not save this game, but I suppose the auto-save mechanism may have saved something. After I quit the game, I re-created my elf.
5) Click on Load, Switch Character, Delete the character I created
6) Create new game, new character (again elf, dual-wielding rogue, female, normal). Give the character the same name as before.
7) Import same Dragon Age Keep
8) Start new game .....
What I notice, in the first scene, I'm wearing gloves and a different armour! I play on PC, but I did also play through the Prologue twice on XBox One through EA Access. My character always started with a green-coloured armour and was bare-handed. But this time, she had gloves and different armour.
Something was odd, but I continued through the game. Varric made references to Hawke (so I assume Keep import is okay) and got some proper references to being an elf. So I thought that everything was good, until I saw the War Table missions.
Did I just misunderstand the Trevelyan mission? When I read it, it really seemed to imply that my Inquisitor was a Trevelyan and not a Lavellan.
