Why on earth are there fps issues on the ps4 during cutscenes? It literally makes no sense, it's been so long since I've experienced choppy cinematics on the next gen system that seeing them has become so glaringly obvious to me that it bugs me.

Like how? How could they not make smooth framerates during cutscenes when literally every game released thus far on the console can?

Having the same issue on PC, im kinda bummed out to hear its the same on PS4. Seems this may be an issue do to animations needing to be sync'd up with the lip sync  =/

Try setting game for 60hz. Seems to transition smoother. Also I find at least with Nvidia 770's that I can't run in SLI. Game ends up running much better on single card even with latest drivers.

Update your drivers.

I have no idea what's causing this. Game runs (on PC) at perfect 60fps at max settings on ultra with "fade touched" textures enabled but the cutscenes are at 30fps? Why? How to fix this?

Issues on the 360 aswell, stuttering, textures not rendering, just sad performance issues. Hopefully some patches on the way to fix things.

I too am having serious cutscene issues on my PS4 as far as framerate goes. It pulls me out of the experience, which otherwise is perfect.

Odd. I updated my drivers for my GTX 580's (which are running in SLI properly) and it made a noticeable improvement. Running single-card was just stuttering too much.

I've seen a bunch of topics on this now, but will somebody please, for the love of all that is or isn't holy, provide a video so that I can see?

I'm really looking forward to this game, but I still have time to cancel my order if the game has unplayable cutscenes. I'm buying it for the story, not the combat, so if the cutscenes are terrible that basically defeats the whole purpose of the game for me. I *need* to see what it's like. All the streams and things that I've seen, I haven't seen a problem.

Unfortunately there is no fix for PS4 players. We have to wait for a stabilization patch.....

I'm playing on Xbox One.  It looks like a frame rate dip.  It gets a little choppy.  Is it hurting my enjoyment of the game? No.  Would I advise someone to cancel their pre-order or send cupcakes to Bioware about it? No.
