Multiple posts have mentioned that it's intended by bioware to make sure it's all lipsynced and setup correctly so I believe that there isn't going to be an official fix.

Is that what it is? It's so annoying and ugly. I want it fixed.

Oh I agree as well! The game looks beautiful and smooth for me, until a cutscene. Then it's choppy choppy...

I really hope this is not the case, if so Bioware needs to let us know officially so that i can play the game, as it is now id rather wait till cutscenes can be enjoyed smoothly... but if thats never going to happen i dont have much of a choice.

There is not an easy fix if you are playing on consoles! The stuttering is present there and the game runs at 30 FPS. We need to keep making noise about this because it's obvious Bioware won't fix this unless it has to.

I don't know what "micro-stutter" is. Does anybody have a non-spoilery video demonstrating the problem?

Seconding this, I'd like to see how much bad it is. Amazon will ship my game (PS4 version) tomorrow so I can still cancel the preorder and buy GTA instead.
And, as it has been said by others, it'd be very nice if someone at Bioware would actually say something about this matter on consoles...

Will continue to bump until we receive an official word from Bioware on this matter.

Instead of a useless "bump", maybe you could link to a video that showcases the problem, since a couple of us have asked?

Same issue. This is really bad. I can force the game to run at 60fps but then bugs happen with spawning my character in the middle of some mountains during prologue. With 30fps lock the microstutter is horrible and takes away a lot of joy from the experience. This needs to be addressed.

It's really a minor annoyance. Annoying, but minor. I'm more annoyed by how I have to re-load a game to get quest action prompts to appear for quest givers (or for returning items to complete a quest). So all in all, I won't be signing a petition or sending cupcakes to Edmonton.
Starscream 723, it looks like a slight drop in frame rate, if that helps.

There is significant micro stutter during cut scenes in Dragon Age on all platforms. There is apparently a work around on PC. Can anyone from Bioware let us know if this is being fixed on consoles????
Just an FYI, the "work around" actually didn't solve the stutter on my system. Cut scenes do look mildly smoother, but the stutter when the camera moves is still there.

Bump. BTW I don't have a video of it and I am not going to suffer through it again to get one. If anyone else has one please feel free to post it here.

Is it a graphics issue with the frame rate or simply because the game itself is choppy in general? Do you think I will have issues with a Nvidia Gforce GTX 780m card if it the first issue?

there's no use posting about it. For people who notice it, it's probably not going to get fixed. For people who don't notice it, there's no point in driving them crazy by pointing it out.
