Exit to main menu and reload just before you get to custom hawke...
Did it auto save after the bug set? Can you reload an auto save before it to try custom hawke again for a temp fix

Yep. British male to American male. PC. Customising Hawke. Really annoying as the quest is part of the crit path that I'd kind of like to keep playing...

Are they? Have they said as such somewhere? Please tell me they have.
Personally I've tried reloading three times now and every time it bugs. Not really sure what else I can try other than not customising Hawke but default manhawke is...awful, so that's hardly a solution...

Just tested to confirm and no, the bug does not occur if you choose default Hawke.

Does this happen to everyone, every time?

That's actually kind of hilarious. Super annoying but hilarious nonetheless. Atleast it doesn't switch to the opposite gender voice.
Man, now I just wanna see a male qunari with Samantha's voice...

Hm. Thank you for this. At least now I know I have to wait for a patch to continue the main quest chain ![]()

Looks like I'm picking default when I finally play the game
. I don't want to risk my inquisitors switch voices, they're half the character!

The explanation is quite simply that this isn't a bug ...

If your character decided to have a operation and change his/her gender mid game without consulting you, who are you to judge????
This is a feature not a bug!

My brother has run into the issue of everyone referring to his character as a girl but in reality he is playing a male inquisitor. He thought it might have been a bug in the import from the keep but I don't know... he ended up creating a new male character in inquisition. ![]()
