Laidlaw confirmed on Twitter. Are they? Have they said as such somewhere? Please tell me they have.
Customizing Hawke causes my Inquisitor to switch voice actors.

How far into the game, in terms of hours, does this bug occur?

Depends on how you play. I got it in ~8 hours or so, but I was also powering through the main quest line to get Dorian and Skyhold. "Hours in" is a difficult thing to judge in a game like this since everyone does different amounts of sidequests and whatnot.
Also, I'm forming a prayer circle for the patch that fixes this to come super soon. So there's that.

what about female inquisitor? i love Alix's voice and wouldnt want to change for anything. so i guess i will be sticking to Hawke's default face since I cannot recreate him to my one in DA2 anyway.

AT least they are looking into it and I envy the people who did not have this bug. Using the default Hawke is weird.

Same thing.
Female VA changed from Sumalee to Alix after recreating Hawke. Picking "Default" Hawke prevents it but I don't want to do that OR continue playing with Alix's voice.
Patch ETA would be appreciated. I took almost two weeks off to play and now I can't advance in the main plot. Loving the game so far though.

From what I could gather, browsing the web for a bit, it happens if you switch your chosen race's "Default" voice to the other and THEN customize Hawke. All the people I've seen who reported that it didn't happen to them were either using "Default" Hawke OR didn't change their Inquisitor's "Default" voice (I.E. It's UK voice for elves) to the other one available.

Anyone got any word and when bioware will address these issues? This is getting annoying.

Same, except one week. I think the worst part though is that I've been playing for the past [absurd number of] hours and haven't been able to talk to Varric, as he's waiting to introduce me to Hawke. It's torture, I tell you.

Perhaps this is what happened: http://en.wikipedia....accent_syndrome.
That was the first thing I thought when it happened to me, but then I talked to the Arcanist, and blew that thought right out of the water. I very definitely changed voices. I'm chalking it up to an identity crisis, until or unless we get a fix...

Just wondering, to the people who got the bug, did you use your race's default voice (IE American for Dwarves and Qunari, British for Humans or Elves) or switch it?
