First off, Where do I get the felandaris from? I also have a few questions, How do I get into redcliffe village I've done all the stuff for the refuges and about 95% of the quest, only thing left is to close 3 rifts that are level 12 and I'm to low to try them. Also do the requisition quest stop for hinterlands or do they keep repeating? and has anyone see that dragon?! its huge and it also 1 hit me...
Redcliffe Stuck on letter from a lover, and I have a few questions.

I made it into Redcliff village all you have to do is continue the main story and it sends you to the village. As far as the herb I'm still clueless, one of the downsides of getting games on release you just have to figure it out yourself. but hopefully someone will tell us, its bugging me to have that 1 quest left in the hinterlands.

Felandaris isn't available in Hinterlands unless you get lucky with a loot stash. Its most common in Emprise du Lion which is not accessible until close to the end of the game.
Redcliff becomes accessible during the main story .. if you don't have access yet, move it along and you will.

I got it through a "Gather resources" war table mission (choose Leliana for higher changes) for Emprise du Lion. I haven't set foot in Emprise yet (but I've unlocked it)

This quest was full of counter-intuitiveness, mostly due to poor syncing of the quest description and actual steps required. At first I'd thought "Felandaris" was a person, maybe a special sword or brooch. OK, it's just an herb. So I got it. Then the note says to bring it to a tree near a "stone lady"- presumably a statue. The statue that the note is found by is of a dude weeping ("Maferath Repentant"). I mean, he's long-haired and all- and he's hiding his face in his hands so there's a little ambiguity- but, no, it's clearly a guy. I think the Landmark had a description of Maferath being sad about killing Andraste and such. So I kept my eye out for a lady statue- and lo and behold there was one center-map in the Hinterlands itself near where Giselle is found. And sure enough there was a special tree just behind the statue with benches around it and everything. But there was nothing to trigger a quest. So I went back to the dude statue. There was the quest trigger- not at a tree near the statue, but right at the foot of the dude statue. No tree of note in the vicinity. And the result? Underwhelming.
I really thought this would be a matter of an NPC who was near the actual "tree near a lady statue," waiting indefinitely for word from their lover, there every day just in case- or an agent waiting for the felandaris as a signal to do something, or waiting to trap the lover, knowing they'd arrive with felandaris- I don't know, something interesting or creative. *grumble*
Varric: "Looks like they had a little gender identification problem..."
Aedlea: "But this can't be all there was to it!"
Blackwall: "At least it wasn't a revenant what sprung up..."
Dorian: "I say, a revenant might have been a refreshing change of pace."

Well, I knew it would be a spirit, but I didn't expect it to be a low-level wraith. If I can't feasibly get felandaris until Emprise du Lion, then what's the point of popping a spirit that's not even a threat? Poor design on that one, Bioware.

I was glad that it was something harmless for once.
