I had a custom world save. Now I imported a different save. It keeps saying I only have default.

How do I use my new keep world state?

How in the name of all that is holy did you already beat it?

I assume you had an advance copy.

As to your issue try renaming the world states and see if the Keep will differentiate them.

Nah. I am close to the end and I don't want to finish yet, but If I play on that file I won't have the control to do all the side quests because I will want to finish...lol.

They both have distinct names..
But to be fair when i loaded "personal canon" up it called it "custom world state" -anyway, and now I al trying to load "Ruthless" and it doesn't recognize it at all.

Should I just rename them both again?

You can try.

I honestly don't know since I have only loaded 2 separate game states and both of them had their names show up for me.

That's not working still.

Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I just have to wait for a patch, I have had a lot of bugs.

Make sure you have actually exported the world state from Keep that you want to use for your new playthrough. When you are in the game menu and create a new game, it only pulls up the currently exported Keep world state, Not a list of All Keep world states.

While in the Keep, there is a button on the right side to "export to DA Inquisition". Make sure the world state you want to use has that export button checked (it will have a green check mark if exported, a red arrow if not exported).

Thanks. It successfully imported according to the keep, but it won't let me pick a custom world state.

2 stupid questions...did you enjoy it and how do you add a name to your world state?

Very much

Press the globe, it will bring up info, one will have the name. There should be a pen by it and tap the pen and you can edit the name.

I've read and watched about 7 reviews (IGN, Gamespot, GamesRadar, Eurogamer, etc) and they have ALL stated that they finished the game between 80-100 hours.

How could you have finished the game when it just released yesterday?  You must have had an early copy or something.

I didn't beat it just done with that playthrough for now.

Has anyone else had similar problems? In short it worked the first time easily and perfectly and this time it won't even load a custom world state in da:i

I thought I read that it imports the world states, but it doesn't bother using the names you gave them, so you have to check the time stamps to see if it is the one you wanted?

I haven't tried it myself yet, and this may not even be the issue you're talking about however.

True. Happened the first time.

Now it says " default. To make a custom visit the dragon age keep...." Etc. says I am not logged in. I am, because it worked the first time.

Ah, so that's why it didn't show the name.  I was worried that something funky had gone on, but all my decisions SEEM to be in the game (like Anora is queen, which is separate from the default world state apparently).

Thanks.

/facepalm

Then it's not a "playthrough" . That word means something very specific, that is that you have played the game from start to absolute finish.

I assume that by now you have tried logging back into the Keep and re-exporting your second world state?

Haha, yeah. Thanks though.
Guess I'll focus on getting red lyrium first.
