Is there a way to check to see if your World State imported to DA:I correctly?

Just wondering if anyone has found a quick and easy way to check your World State. Something in game you can check that would make it different from the default world state. This would give me peace of mind if I could check it.

I'm trying to avoid spoilers (no game until Friday here in the UK!) but, from things I have stumbled upon, it seems you should speak to Varric early and extensively.

Apparently, he will give you a run-down of what your previous companions have been up to and you may well be able to tell from that.

Hmm, following that video seems to show my world state is correct. One thing I'm worried about is the requisition officer talks about Queen Anora, but doesn't mention Alistair even though they're ruling together.

Talking to Varric doesn't reveal much. He just confirms they're all alive but that could be a default world state very easily. I noticed he didn't mention Anders because I executed him. I was sad to hear he said Isabella went back to being a raider... She didn't stay with Hawk?
