It's a known bug, restarting fixes it, also swapping from male to female a few times seems to fix it when making the character.

If I could post a screenshot I would. Especially my male elf, he's wearing eyeshadow. Pink and orange at that. Mixes with his tattoos well though.

Well with the hair styles, can you blame anyone for being confused what gender someone is?

It's a bug, it happened to me as well after creating my first Inquisitor (which I barely liked) and I heard being called her since the first words.

 

I Alt+F4 closed the game and started over, resulting in my actual Inquisitor, properly addressed as him, and far better in what I wanted him to look like.

Yes, I think that's what you should do.

I hear you can safe yourself against it by switching between the gender cards before settling on the one you want.

Unfortunately, you have to start a new game.

 

Pay attention to what Leliana says in the opening scenes. If she says "We need HER" to Cassandra, welp, you better restart.

 

Usually if you hit the gender selection a couple times, you can avoid this bug.

It's the Transgender bug. I'm playing human male and constantly reffered to as her...

No complaints here got few lesbian romance lines from random npcs..

 

like: "You're gorgeous princess!" , "I've got a beard... wtf?"

It's a bug, unfortunately in order to solve this, you gotta restart your playtrough, and scroll between the male and female gender option in the character creation a few times and the bug will be fixed!

 

But who knows, maybe It'll be patched and you can keep this char!
