Happened to me on PC. Didn't really pick up on it until the scene you get your first weapon, I was a mage and my armor disappeared, and the cache only contained rogue equipment. Not sure if its a separate bug or all related.

I have this issue with PS4 and I'm playing as a female. 

 

Does anyone know if this will affect my romance options? I've already had "romantic" options for Cassandra when I know she is straight. I was hoping it was just an attempt at flirting that would be shot down because I'm a female.

Ride it out and force her into an awkward romance situation, only to have it patched later.. Then wait for the most uncomfortable breakup in the world.

I'd expect a patch to stop this glitch from occurring in new games, but I won't expect it to affect saved games. It would have to retroactively change a lot of gender-specific decisions re: romance and character interactions, surely?

It should **** up severely, yes. Models aren't likely to share the same skeleton and animation framework .... Not to mention coversation scripts.  It'd be a hillarious conversation though..

i had love options with Cassandra as well and i choose one of it and she slightly disapproves. guess u can flirt with her but she would not reciprocate (female dalish elf here and so far, no problem).

Anyone got any videos of a race/gender that is romancing a character that should be race/gender gated?

 

I'd like to see a female romancing Dorian, male romancing Solas, male romancing Sera, female romancing Cassandra, etc! Thank you.
