I always have in-game overlays disabled because i don't like stuff distrating me while i play, meaning Steam and Origin are both disabled, however for some reason i enabled it for Battlefield 4 a week ago.
When i lanched DAI there was this random stutter that would might even happen on Intro videos, menu and benchmark.
So i did a couple things, defrag hard drive, disable raptr, and disable Origin in-game and the stutter was gone.
When i restarted my PC raptr was enabled, the stutter wasn't there meaning it waqsn't raptr, so i went ahead and enabled Origin in-game, and voila the stutter is back.
This isn't a DRM issue, which i must say amazing work by Sony there as it doesn't cause stutters and other weird stuff like Tages and Securom did.
I'd like to ask Bioware to look into this, because there's something on Origin Overlay that causes the stutter.
I did another test before posting this and yes, it is Origin In-game.
TL;DR: Disable Origin in-game
Edit: How to disable Origin in Game: Right click on the game in origin and choose Game Properties, check "Disable Origin in Game for this game".
