This has been thoroughly discussed on geforce forums and EA answers forums.

In short, there's obvious texture flickering on both AMD and Nvidia with SLi and CrossFire. Both venders have game ready drivers released, and while tweaking SLi flags can help alleviate it, we need a proper fix. Fog transparency in dungeons/caves completely blocks view with bright whiteness too. (verified from multiple sources, but might be Nvidia specific). Game also needs some serious performance tweaks, there's much stuttering and hitching. Hinterlands for example even lowering to 720p or lower on my GTX 690 I can't get more than 45fps with a 4.5GHz core i5, so there's some serious engine/cpu bottlenecks going on somewhere here.

BioWare... I sincerely hope you're working on a patch to fix this stuff, among the many other issues I've been reading about. I don't understand how a game can be released in this kind of state.

I have the same problem. Two GTX 780 Ti's in SLi and a ridiculous amount of texture flickering in game. Please work on resolving asap. This is ruining the game and running in single card mode sucks because the fps drops below 30 at 2560x1440.

Mm. That explains it.... Turned on sli and was wondering what that was about...

Yeah, I bought the game off Orgin and had to refund it, it was so bad. Tried the 344.80 Beta drivers, they improved the flickering a bit... but it was still happening in many areas. The cut cinematic scenes suffer from horrible micro-stuttering too.

It's shame the game can't be played on SLI rigs for now... I'll either wait until they fix it, or maybe buy it way later for less. But I'm not paying top dollar for a game that doesn't perform properly.

This really needs to be addressed.  Some sections of the game are nearly unplayable with SLI turned on.

No, there has been no fix. It also happens on Crossfire rigs.

I dunno if God was smiling on me or what but I downloaded the nvidia 347.09 driver and so far my crazy texture flickering has stopped in SLI with two GTX 780s.  Not sure about the fog yet...we'll see as I get further along in my new play through.

Edit: That horrible white fog is gone.  Nice.

Not nVidia specific. It happens on my dual-GPU AMD card, as well.

Have you re-enabled the SLI after installing the new driver? It it off by default and that's what has probably fixed your issues, because the driver most definitely does not fix them for me, nor it does for my friends with SLI. In fact, it is not a driver problem, but a game engine's. It has been fixed for Battlefield quite fast, but Bioware just don't give a crap.

Same issues, AMD user here. Game is poorly optimized. No fixes, no love for PC, just nerf the graphics with crappy LOD adjustments, instead of actually fixing their game.

And still no acknowledgement of the issue despite countless reports, so I guess the no one is even working on the fix. Bioware, really, do you even give a **** about your users, who have stayed loyal to you for all this time? I don't even want to be pissed off anymore - it's just completely frustrating.

There is a partial fix out there for the fog issue in sli, but you need windows 7 (I went so far as to dual boot windows 7 onto my system, as I found it that annoying!).

Look here:http://helixmod.blog...to-dx11-3d.html

This is actually a 3d vision hack, but they are working through the fog issues in sli too. All you need to do is download the latest version and copy the files into your dragonageinquisition.exe folder, you can ignore the rest.

Unfortunately MSAA can't be enabled (it makes the screen all grey), but I wasn't enabling this anyway. You also lose about 5fps; but its worth it IMO.

They are constantly updating it and haven't fixed all the fog yet; I've found one location (the 'shard' cave) where it hasn't been fixed, but everywhere else has been so far (I'm pretty early on though).

Fog+Flicker still happens with my crossfire 290s.  I upgraded my computer for this game (silly me) without reading about these issues.

Geez look how many low-post-count customers are on this thread.  It's a damn shame that ridiculous technical issues on common hardware setups are the first things these guys are experiencing and coming here to ask about.  For two and a half months.

Still having issues after patch 11 on my AMD Crossfire setup and turning it off doesn't fix a thing. It is rare but still happens which is annoying.
