I'm glad it's working for you. Updating from 344.65 to 344.75 drops my ingame fps by a good 10-20. It's kind of ridiculous that an "optimised" driver is killing performance.

well this is an AMD game after all. Now you guys know how us AMD users feel about ubisoft and their games.

No drops for me but like @dragonwanderer - can't do auto optimisation.

Yeah, I didn't detect any drops in fps either. Maybe it's even a slightly better but nearly undetectable. I'm on gtx 560. ![]()

660ti here, no difference after drivers but the performance isn't too bad.

I updated my nVidia driver to 344.75 before starting the game (which arrived from Amazon via the USPS in the late afternoon) so can't say what it would have been like before, but no problems on default settings for my GTX770.
I did see the same issue the others are reporting when I tried to use the GeForce Experience tool:
Got the error message, "Unable to apply optimal settings". Oh well, I guess I'll just have to do it the old fashioned way! ![]()

Impossible to play with the new drivers. Had to go back to the old ones. What improved my gaming a lot was that forced 60 fps trick.

Not at all. I'm an Nvidia user myself (at least for the time being), and I generally prefer Gaming Evolved over The way it's meant to be played games because AMD actually tries to help developers to optimize their code (Mantle or not) rather than implementing proprietary tech like gameworks that only benefits people with high end Nvidia cards.
Nvidia builds some great hardware, but they should stop doing stuff by themselves all the time. Look at AC Unity. One of the most beautiful games I've ever seen, but runs like crap even on high end Nvidia cards. Why? Because D3D is killing performance due to the extreme amount of draw calls. A low level API like Mantle would fix that, but neither Ubisoft nor Nvidia seem to care about that.
