The rift in front of Calenhad Foothold won't let me close it after i disrupt it...I am thoroughly confused.

Be sure all the demons are dead, seems like a "duh" comment, but I ran into that with a demon that was, for lack of a better term, hiding from us. It seems like it spawned underground, and we couldn't interact with it. I disengaged the party, ran off, and it chased us, putting it back on top of the ground, and I was able to continue.
