Always out of ammo

I was merely stating that I miss the old ammo system, but i am learning to adjust as well.
The tactical cloak ability seems to only be useful on insanity difficulty to run out and grab ammo while enemies cant see you. Also for the Oh $%^$ moments.
I am early in the game so i haven't acquired other means of taking out large groups of enemies.

I already started on my second play through, with a Sentinel. You don't need guns to kill, Overload + SMG fire takes out shields, if they are now only HP, I just Throw their ass into something, which usually kills them. Rinse, repeat, the cool downs in this game are low. Warp is your bread and butter damage, and it makes armor go away fast as hell. Heavy Throw is so cash. Tossing people around never, ever gets old. Tossing people into other people makes for fun as well. Throw kills.

Still, those stores sold the game illegally, and therefore OP would have procured the game illegally. Just because it is from a store doesn't mean its just peachy to break the street date. Bioware set the street date for their game, and should have the right to protect their intellectual rights by enforcing that copyright against both pirates and stores. At the very least, he shouldn't advertise to bioware that he is playing their game before the street date when it becomes 'legal' to sell.

That was me. I wouldn't want Buzzed50 to feel insulted for no reason

Its just a little hard to get used to after running through ME1 on insanity using ONLY a sniper, even for close range sometimes.. gonna have to break the habit

Calm down, mate. He isn't posting spoilers or anything, he's just saying that ammo is hard to come by. Which is disappointing news - I was hoping that ammo would not necessarily be plentiful, but that you wouldn't have to resort to running out in the middle of a firefight so pick some up - especially since I plan on playing Infiltrator.
He's playing the game illegally.
If a store broke the street date and sold it to him early, no he isn't.

Bioware, you might want to consider rolling back to the original system in ME3. Or at least making some sort of hybrid version.

Even If i hadn't received the game early, we could still have a nice well informed discussion about how the ammo system works because we have all seen live game play demos and what not.

Okay, Okay, people. Semantics aside, OP does not need to post in the no spoilers forum advertising that he has a copy of the game early before release. He can wait a day until the spoiler-sanctioned forum opens.

And what were talking about clearly isn't a spoiler.... there are numerous videos with the devs talking about the new ammo system. So.. unless you didn't know that already i think its free game to talk about.

This is what I've also been reading and seeing. The shotguns are supposedly the worst off. The guns really feel archaic compared to what we had in ME1.

I like this idea, I do see what they were trying to do with the new system, the old way just seems more... fun?
I havent tried any shotguns yet, but i can only imagine how fast their ammo drains on insanity, and in the heat of battle its hard to look out for those little heat sinks.
Maybe if they were a little easier to see too... Sometimes with alot of red lighted areas its really hard to see them on the ground, especially in battle.

Finally you can take your pistol and strafe about, while aiming for the head. ME 2 has more of a classic shooter than ME 1; faster movement and higher headshot damage. I love it.

Its definitely more classic, and a lot more challenging too.

That was me. I wouldn't want Buzzed50 to feel insulted for no reason. As for what i said, it's just a matter of copyright. The only way that OP could have gotten the game is in a manner against the wishes of the developer (wishes expressed in contracts with stores), whatever that happened to be. Then he posts on the developer's forums, ignoring the first stickies post barring such posts. It simply isn't of sound logic.
Someone is putting my name where I did not write. I must have made someone cry. Now you can see who really wrote that above lol. Please don't cry its only a game.

Thats what I predicted would happen anyways.
I dont have game but based on what I read and saw, no way this new system was going to go over with Bioware core audience and seems the posts about it have already started, 2 days before release as well.
Only going to get worse
