Might wanna fix this at EAHQ.
You so funny OP like I can afford an SSD.
Yeah some say that and others say this.

Better just see for yourself and then talk. ![]()
Basically, this entire "killing your SSD" thing is thieves pissed off that they can't get the game for free so they make up BS in an attempt to discredit the software stopping them stealing it.
I too trust Russian hackers without verification on my own.
Who doesn't?! I mean, the "hacker" part alone gives them credibility.
I don't know why but this whole conundrum reminds me when I saw a potato yesterday that had wings and legs, but it wasn't a potato just a rock with strangly shaped moss.
Already proven to be false.

Nice try. That's like saying people who don't like government surveillence are just upset because they are criminals.
Excessive disk writes is a very valid concern, and may even be causing the stuttering issues in-game.

That would be a pretty big waste of effort, since Denuvo's purpose isn't to prevent software piracy. It's to prevent people from hacking the game to give themselves items and gold for free.
Oh for crying out loud. It is the same old table that's been going around different fora for a while now and it is still not validated in the least, even seen counterclaims with tables saying the opposite. If you're worried, install it on a HDD, or not at all. Doesn't matter to me what you do.
The game doesn't use Denuvo DRM. It uses Origin. Denuvo is only used to protect the .exe from being tampered with.
Denuvo is not DRM. What Denuvo *does* however, is encrypt/decrypt the executable on the fly.
If you have your game on SSD, the fast access speeds of the SSD mean that Denuvo works much faster. Both *reads* and *writes* have an effect on SSD lifespan, and Denuvo, by design, does a lot of read and write operations.
Whether this is the same Denuvo implementation that caused wear problems on an SSD with another game, is a different question.
One of the devs already posted about this (I will see if i can find it in a min)
Denuvo only rewrites the exe and thats done while its stored in ram

Yup man i wish i had another ssd. Oh well normal HDD will do
