New software releases should never have bugs. 40 people playing 24/7 365 days /year should be able to discover every bug in the game.
Inexcusable.

well you confirm you are a console gamer.
Hey I'm simply repeating what I read on metacritic. It's good for a laugh.
Best game ever ...

Can't speak for others but I fiddle because I want the best without having the best. In other words, I want the best from the game without having the best PC. I start out with the lower settings so the game runs smooth. Then I tweak a setting here and there until I find the sweet spot for my crappy rig. As is I'm at about medium with some textures cranked up a little higher and the game looks great and runs good enough for me to enjoy.
I would love to set everything on ultra but my rig can't handle it. I knew this going in and I don't blame the game.
Most PC gamers can never get used to it looking at the huge number of complains before bioware gave in and promise to improve it.
well you confirm you are a console gamer.
Another console gamer.
You make my day a little brighter, Han Master. Will you be my friend? ![]()

I have both. I understand the concern, but honestly for PC players there is an option to connect a controller.
I am a PC player and after about 20-25 hours I stand by what I have said in the OP: the game is awesome in so many ways that the control issues - with the exception of the tactical camera - don't matter at all. Having said that, I'm a PC gamer of 30 years experience and while I am completely unable to use a controller, I have no trouble adapting to any KB/M control scheme. The PC controls are not optimal asnd could profit from some patching, but they do work. I really wonder why you younger players are having so much trouble. Usually it's said you get less adaptable with age.
For me personally, if Bioware fixes the tactical camera this will be the first 10/10 game in a decade. As it is, it's 9/10.
BTW, I have had two crashes. No more than in many other games. Didn't lose more than five minutes of playing. Maybe I'm just super-tolerant, but really, this is so minor I tend to forget it.

And how about those with 10/10, I suppose you think they are real.
There's a major difference between slightly exaggerating the awesomeness of a game and conveniently forgetting about the couple of things that annoyed you... and giving a game a score of zero for failing to meet some expectation.
I sincerely doubt there's absolutely nothing to like about the game to justify giving it a 0... and on the off-chance you can't even play it due to software problems...hold the eff off on the review and solve the goddamn problem.
Most people who give the game a 10/10 (besides those that truly enjoyed it and do think it deserves a 10) probably don't give a **** that the hair is a little shiny.
0/10's are entitled brats.

I am obviously going to need more time, because this is my first Bioware title that actually bores me.

You're a person that understands that some things can go wrong and enjoys the whole package rather than nitpick.
People should aspire to be like that.
Why do PC players need to connect a controller for a game that suppose to be made for PC as promise by the developers or is it all a lie.
It is designed for PC. You're argument is about a "walking" button... I'd respect the concern a whole lot more if it was something like your basic controls, but there is no problem with the controls whatsoever...
You are spazzing over walking options... walking options... I mean walking options....!?

@Han:
If a game has 100 points of features and 2 points of them are flawed, you don't subtract 10% from the rating. The tac cam is worth 5-10 points, the hair rates 1, if that.
And yet you don't mind a 10/10 ?
Yes...because believe it or not... positivism always always beats negativity. You should try it sometime.
