[Back Lot Basher]

I was looking for all the codex entries, and some are behind cell doors in the Chantry basement in Haven.  Because you're by yourself in and around Haven, only a rogue can get at these.  Does anyone know, are these cut off from you completely if you play a mage or warrior?  Or are there occasions when you might be able to bring a rogue party member with you down into the basement at some point?

It's been a few years since I played, but I believe you will be able to return at a later time, and bring a rogue with you.

After you've recruited Leliana (she's your first Rogue companion) early in the game, you can return to the Chantry, and use her lockpicking skills.

 

I think that will allow you to get the remaining codex entries that you're looking for.

All I recall are the two side rooms off of the sanctuary.

That is all I remember also... when you walk in the front door.. the hidden door on the right where they imprisoned Brother Genitivi... and the door to the left where there are some chests....

I have vague recollections of a basement section that I only accessed when playing the Mage Origin. It's been a long time, though, so I could easily be mixing something up.

And this one is confused by the "Because you're by yourself in and around Haven" part, since there's no impediment to having a full party in Haven... unless... is this about DA:I Haven, mayhap, and NOT DA:O Haven? Because that would make it a spoiler. *possible angry face*

There is no basement in DAO: Haven chantry.

Good grief....I'm so sorry, folks.  I didn't realize I was in the Origins forum when I posted this.  I thought this one was for Inquisition.  I feel like an idiot.
