I have tried to search google and youtube and I can't find any details about the Katari.

Do they use 2 handers? How do they differ than the Reaver? What are their skills like?

They are two handers. They are kind of 2 hand swingers in middle of battle. They have a lot of crit enhance, and one tree is offense other tree is defence. There is topic on this forum somewhere with Katari tree video. There also people playing on twitch.

I think the Katari is mainly based on the Champion specialization from single player, I don't know which base skill it is mixed with though. So it does use two handed weapons.

Sounds like they are similar to Reaver

Having played the Reaver, and having observed the Katari in groups, the first thing that I notice is their methods of restoring/preserving HP.  Katari builds those defense/block points, while Reaver can steal HP, through their respective abilities.

 

Reaver gains damage buffs from fallen enemies as well.  I would imagine Katari may have a more defensive, but similar, skill.

He once took down a wyvern , and seems to be a jolly fellow. Notably one that gains a heck of a lot more guard than a Reaver seems to, but I haven't the pleasure of playing either yet.
