I will start off with mine, I have 2 planned out.

Tempest Build

Tempest – 10 (Flask of Fire+, Flask of Lightning+, Flask of Frost, Thousand Cuts, Flaskmaster, Fury of the Storm, Ride of the Storm, Killer's Alchemy)

Double Daggers – 8 (Flank Attack+, Twin Fangs+, Bloodied Prey, Unforgiving Chain, Dance of Death, Sneak Attack)

Sabotage – 8 (Poisoned Weapons+, Hook & Tackle+, Fighting Dirty, Explosive Toxin, Looked Like It Hurt, Cheap Shot)

Subterfuge – 4 (Stealth+, Easy to Miss, Evasion)

Skills – Flask of Fire, Flask of Lightning, Flask of Frost, Stealth, Hook & Tackle, Poisoned Weapons, Flank Attack, Twin Fangs. *Thousand Cuts for hard boss fights*

Artificer Build

Artificer – 11 (Spike Trap+, Elemental Mines+, Fallback Plan+, Hail of Arrows, Set Them Up, Opportunity Knocks, And Take Them Down, Tricks of the Trade.)

Double Daggers – 8 (Flank Attack+, Twin Fangs+, Bloodied Prey, Unforgiving Chain, Dance of Death, Sneak Attack)

Sabotage – 6 (Caltrops+, Throwing Blades+, Looked Like It Hurt, Cheap Shot).

Subterfuge – 4 (Stealth+, Easy to Miss, Evasion)

Skills – Spike Trap, Elemental Mines, Fallback Plan, Stealth, Flank Attack, Twin Fangs, Caltrops, Throwing Blades. *Hail of Arrows for tough boss fights*

+ represents upgrades. I decided to focus on active abilities as much as passives since they are powerful in this game. I also decided to just work within the 8 ability in combat lock to make life easier. For example, when it comes to Dragons or other big boss battles, you can switch Hook & Tackle or Thousand Cuts.

What do you folks think ? Solid ? Could use improvements ?

Also, interested in seeing other people's rogue builds.

Do Tempest abilities work well if you are playing archer?  I see you used double daggers for your yours but I'm curious none-the-less.

Yes they do. Sera is a Tempest Archer.

How does the Thousand Cuts work with a bow? It sounds like you would need a knife.

No. The animation just plays out. Your character dashes around doing insane damage.

Sweet. Now I can switch to bow. Targeting in melee is making me dizzy.  Besides, the bows look freaking sweet.

Rogue with a bow is hard to get use to im still low lvled but there are somegood perks. Makes sure to get a perk that if your elevated above the target you do more damage ( sorry not playing atm or I would tell you what it is). But that skill helps at low lvls as I us it alot. But its a slower pace than daggers but I think allows for a great first paly through because you can sit back and learn the new combat play. Im loving the now atm plan to do a mage next. But I think tempest is what ill pick almost to that part I believe.

Nice, here is new build which builds for massive CD decrease from Flask/Shadow Strike synergy

Sabotage: 5 pts

Caltrops

Look like it hurt

Cheap Shot

Hook and Tackle

It Beats Walking

Subtrefuge: 6 pts

Stealth

Lost in shadows
Easy to Miss
Knockout Powder
Shadow Strike
Quick Blade

DD: 5 pts

Twin Fangs

Dance of Death

Sneak Attack

Death Blow

Thrill of Victory

Tempes : All the tree  11 pts

This is different from Whirling Dervish (Blade Dancer build posted by Ishten), but this is about another thing where you use massive CD reduction but less Crit usage

I dunno which is better, but massive CD decrease on flasks also good option, its just another option that seems fun aqnd good for me

Abilities: 3 Flasks, Thousand Cuts, Shadow Strike, Hook, Deathblow , Stealth.
Initiation : Hook, Frost Flask ..
Flask rotation (in filler in between) : Frost > Lightning > Fire
Filler : Shadow Strike > Deathblow (rinse/repeat) > auto, + ocassional Hook , Stealth if needed
During Fire flask : Shadowstrike spam
Boss fights: Thousand Cuts
Generally with proper conditions Shadoiw Strike and Deathblow comboi sounds actually quite powerful.

Ishten could you put up a leveling guide so we know what ability to unlock at each level. Thanks.

Hmm...That's the thing...I usually make a theoretical level cap build and just work towards that...I never use a leveling guide.

I do that too, but only in games that do not allow a respec. In games like DAI I have very different builds depending on level progression.

The most obvious example would be a mage who just unlocked KE specialization respeccing to get some KE goodies rather than waiting 5-6 levels to do that.
