[Flytarget]

So last night I start playing my first game of dragon age on hard difficulty. I noticed something in tactical view while fighting templars that I am curious about. I can select an enemy and it says basic attack but if I click a ranged ability my guy will fire it off in a random direction. How do you pick who the target is for the abilities in tactical view? Maybe I am overlooking something but I couldn't figure it out last night.

If it's an active on the hotbar, click the active (or hotkey) and then select the intended target. Or select the target and click the hotkey for that ability.

 

In active mode, you can also lock target with tab so you character will always be facing it.
