Ok just started the game, the controls are awful, the UI is consolesque, no autoattack, can't move until the attack animation finishes etc... (seriously there's something that needs to be done here) BUT, the most awful thing of them all, the lack of friggin' tooltips. We have a "pc special" hotbar, with no tooltips, knowing that at the beginning of the game your character sheet is blocked and you have NO INDICATION WHATSOEVER about what an ability does (aside from the obvious on the icons). Whose idea was that, that guy has to be fired.
Can I Haz Tooltips?

I hate to throw the word "consolization" around but I'm beginning to wonder if this game was really built from the ground up with the PC gamer in mind. Sooooooooooooooooooooo many things wrong with the game that should not be.

I'm actually really surprised not to see more complaints about this. I can't stand it! I can't think of a single reason why they don't have tooltips that you can toggle on and off to your preference. Shouldn't have to open up a bunch of menus to read what the abilities do, takes you right ouf the action.

But just think of the consequence! If they had taken the time out of their busy schedule to put in such trivial things as tooltips, lots of other important things would have to be left out! Sure, you might might find it useful to know what a skill actually does, but if we had all that function then we wouldn't have had all the role-play features like a walk toggle.
Oh wait...!

tooltips make the game not tactical enough, bioware wants you to plan ahead, read skills in menu before each encounter.
