Maybe it's the same scheme playing with keyboard/mouse controls, I don't know. But I'm playing on the gamepad, and I find it highly annoying that I have to hold RT to advance time in tactical mode. I'd much rather click to pause, click again to play, and so on.
Aside from cut scene stutters, this is really my only major complaint.
