Hullo, according to the Prima game guide book, one of Cullen's personal quests is the following: Before the Dawn (Samson nemesis quest)

 

Since from my understanding that Samson is the Red Templar's general if ever you side with mage, does that means that we can get this quest only if we side with mage? & that this quest will not be available if we side with templars?

That is my understanding. I do know that 1 of Cullen's personal quests is only available if you side w/mages. I'm assuming it would be that one.

Ah ok I see. Do you know any source confirming this? The guide isn't specific at all on this subject.

 

Actually he has 3 personal quests:

- gift quest

- personal plot quest

- and that one with Samson thing

 

so it really seems to be this one in any case.

They are all 3 in the emerald groves marked by quest icons. If you highlight them they say "before the dawn"

Is one of these quests available as soon as you acquire Skyhold?  I see an exclamation point indicating a new quest and it says Cullen when I select it on the map; however, I cannot find a way to get to that part of Skyhold.  Are there certain areas that are not accessible until a later time?  I couldn't get to the stables either or find the library or my bedroom, for example.
