Hey, there's nothing wrong with routine. Plus I get pretty tired with two kids, and I have a bad hip from my military days, so...

Up to level 12 on my Legionnaire so I may venture up a difficulty level. But I am a pugger (don't have much of an Origin friends list) so that is likely to be a near catastrophe.

Right now, it's very hard to find a non lagging game on anything above Routine.

Let alone a game above routine. The only method I have been doing is making a private party of 3 or 4 people and doing it.

It's not super hard, but if you pug, expect a headache from all the foreign VPN using hosts that will lag you if you are in the states.

I like it really hard. I also like it when she pushes me down and force me.. Eeh, you were wondering about the game difficulty, weren't you?

Routine, but I haven't gotten the game yet. Doesn't come out until tomorrow here =) Played the trial though <3

Routine and Threatening to level up my characters and then I'll need a good team for Perilous.

Looks at title "well that's a personal question"

Anyways I am still one routine. Maybe tomorrow I will go up one. Who knows. Haha.

With friends I'll do the harder levels, but with pugs I just stick with routine.  Just not worth the headache.

I think that Threatening is good enough for me. Gives enough gold and I can hope to finish it.

I want to try perilous, but it seems no one ever hosts a lobby, or joins for that matter.

So regretfully, I am going in soft.

It's alright, but cheaters are already ruining the game.  I was in a game and we were all invincible and nothing cost resource to cast

Soooooooooo Fun.  /Sarcasm

With that said, Perilous does not offer as much Reward vs Time/Difficulty as Threatening does.  Threatening seems to be the best when it comes to both XP rewards and Gold rewards, since you can finish it, and finish it in decent time.  And if you're doing Perilous you're likely already level 20 and XP doesn't matter, and I'm not sure but it doesn't seem like you get better drops, either

Yeah, I tried Perilous today and a standard gold pot gave ~25 gold instead of ~18 at Threatening and ~11 at Routine. For the noticable increase in difficulty, the rewards aren't enough in my opinion.

Currently we roll threatening whenever we are 3. When I am soloing or we are two we go routine to avoid overly frustrating moments =p

I've yet to witness a routine lobby get through the last stage before I need wondering about that.

Seeing the "HOT" icon for this thread with this title is just so much win.

Routine.  I've unlocked every class but two and I keep bouncing between them, trying them all out.  I'll probably stick to Routine for a lot longer than I stayed in Bronze in ME3MP, but that's largely because you can't outskill the AI so much in this game.  Which isn't to say there's no skill invovled, but there's no right-hand advantage or map circuits to get distance or shield gate (or shields for that matter) or medigels or rockets.  You get the idea.  You're going to take damage and you have far fewer panic buttons or ways to mitigate/avoid the damage.

Also, demon commander.

So routine, threatening once I have better gear.

Routine for level 1~15, threatening for level 15~20 unless there are trouble finding a good host.

I've yet to witness a routine lobby get through the last stage before I need wondering about that.

I had one yesterday that I got through 2-3 last stages successfully. The first time they didn't hold the starting room so we wiped. The second time they did and all died, so I soloed the Red Templar commander and his minions with my Alchemist. After that they seemed to trust me enough to follow my lead and we even succeeded against the Demon Commander.

They were Germans and first talked sh*t about me when I dropped into the lobby, probably didn't expect me to understand them. I muted them because their mics were annoying. I kinda wish I had un-muted them during my stage 5 clutch. :P

Got 4 successful runs now. Gear makes a significant difference. (Found a nice axe for my Legionnaire)

I always see the mic symbols light up but strangely - I don't hear anything.

Threatening seems to be the best rewards/time so far. Unless perilous has a significantly better chance at quality items(haven't seen a huge difference so far), it just doesn't seem to worth it.

I haven't seen any increase either.  Even the increase in gold over Threatening is less than the increase to threatening from routine.  I hope they fix it.  They should make treasure room chests in Perilous drop gold and a guaranteed item along side it, but also make every chest a guarded one that spawns an elite.  That's incentive to work towards doing it right there, and possibly an item with a higher chance for rares upon completion of zone 5, so people don't quit before the end after using up all the rooms

Routine: 400-700 gold, 10-20 mins.

Threatening: 600-1000 gold, 20-30 mins.

Perilous: 200-1100 gold, 5-30 mins (never finished).

Exp gain seems to be best on higher difficulties for me. I can get over 10 levels in one match of Perilous while the most I have gotten on Threatening was like 8.
