I'm willing to bet you 1 (one) internets that: You're either not on a PC or you are playing a ranged character.

I'm glad for you though.

PC, mouse and keyboard, playing dual wielding rogue, don't mind it at all.

Yes, it's totally different from the previous games (by design, so this is not something to "fix"), which will obviously bug the hell out of some, I got used to it already though.

Yeah. :) Try playing a dual-wielding rogue for a bit -- they really get shafted by the clunky controls. Mages do not rely on being in close-quarters, so movement is not as big an issue. But playing a rogue, it took me a LONG time to finally get a rough handle on staying on my enemies (especially those terror demons/teleporting mages... sigh), and my character still flails around sometimes stabbing at thin air just because the enemy moved an inch, thus out of range, and the silly controls don't allow me to close the distance because BW 'forgot' to implement a click-to-move function like in all previous BW games.

Indeed. I am trying a mage out now (before my refund window expires in 12 hours) because my favourite DA class (sword and board) with no autoattack at all is too RSI-making to play on a laptop--partly because of that tactical bug that Psychevore can "live with". As melee class (of any stripe), especially on a gaming lappy, no, no, you can't. Tactical camera is so horrific on a smaller screen, you cannot properly aim the camera up to close the rifts. The wee hand cannot be seen, clicked on, or reached. The combination is very frustrating.

OP - we do get a conformation that they know they droped the ball.

Now the question is - would that in the end be PR move that will leave us whit crappy controls, broken tac cam and no auto move ( and attack ) - remains to be seen.

Game looks solid. from the reviews I've scanned, the story and world are excellent. But it took me about 30mins to quit in disappointment. Time played: 1 hour. 30 mins of that was checking all race/class combos for the 6 lines of 'history' and messing about with the looks of my human 2h warrior.

I'd like to add my voice to the choir that's asking for 'classic' tactical combat in BG/DA:O style, with properly zoomed out camera, classic button layouts and target assignment options. If I wanted to play 3rd person view combat, I'd play a game from the Assassin's Creed or Batman Arkham X series. But I don't.

I was under the impression from the DEV speaks awhile ago they'd be giving us the option to "Choose our Playstyle" based off if we liked DA:O more or DA:2 more.

Looks like that plan got botched?

- I'd request my money back If I could, because... It is very frustrating to being forced to try to use an xbox one controller in place of a wonky system that doesn't let us tweak almost anything to our likings. :(

* Maybe a Push Out The Door EA issue? *

Thanks devs for reading/listening! :)

Thats probably the right nove. As im pass the moment i can ask for a refund im stuck hoping for resolution.

One thing is for sure - now as ME and DA is done - BioWare will have to really work hard ( and i mean extra hard ) to get my money for their next project.
