I killed 10 rams for meat and turned them in to the hunter. Now what do? go back to Haven to try to get blankets for them?

The blankets quest is where you find (deserted) apostate camps, and take whatever they left behind. You know that thing you do when you find a landmark and "claim" it? (Throw that staff onto the ground, w/e) That's all you really do at the apostate camps.

Keep wandering around & check your map as you go. There are DOZENS of side-quests in that region.

Look for camps. Close the little rifts. Look for quests on your map and keep exploring and expanding the map as you go.
