Is there every a benefit to NOT using the advisor who gives you the quickest turn-around on a Mission?

 

Should I just go by the numbers and choose who can get it done fastest (assuming they're not away on another mission)? Is the description of how an advisor will get the job done just "flavor text", or does it make a difference if I have Josephine use diplomacy or have Leliana use covert ops?

I think there's different outcomes depending on who you choose. I had a noble complaining about refugees on his property. I sent someone who pretty much told him to **** off and got nothing in return, if I sent someone else to shoo the refugees away I would imagine the noble would have given me a reward.

The rewards change depending on who you use - I wish there was a guide for these missions.

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then yes... sending Leliana to "scare" the refugees away did yield me gold as a reward.

Pretty sure that's who I sent. He just goes and tells the noble to blow it out his ass. I didn't get anything for it besides the satisfaction of putting a bigot in his place.

I believe you get some influence from it as well... 30 if I recall.
