I have wondered this myself as well.
Which is great for them and all but i feel they need to appeal to all customers equally not get all hooked up into niche areas..

No instant accusations. There were a lot of beautiful and hot ladies. Look at Morrigan, Leliana, Miranda, EDI, Isabela and many more.
Weren't they made by a different Bioware group though, Origins and Mass effect 1 had different Developers i think and a far different focus.
