Hello, 

 

     I have done all parts of this quest but i now at the end where i have to "convince dennet to give the horses" and he is not longer in his house.  Where might i find him?

You might be out of luck. The quest is bugged for me, too. For me, the quest marker for talking to Dennet is somewhere south-west of his farms but he is not there and neither is he in his house where is supposed to me, so I can't do that quest.

 

It could be the same for you, that he just vanished into thin air.
