I'm roughly 8hours in, really like it so far.  Customization helps me get into the story WAY more.  From what I've seen of the plot, this finally feels like a land that's torn apart by a bitter war

 

It's the little touches, like seeing a bunch of dead mages with swords or arrows sticking out of them, or the templars frozen in place.  Really adds character.

16 hours in and have just got to the Skyhold bit.

Theres a certain story quest that you make a big choice and I was shocked they even went there it blew my mind it was amazing. The story has been fantastic imo so far.
