I pre-ordered the Collector's/Digital Deluxe Edition off of Steam and had a few questions...

Firstly, this all might be due to the fact that the game hasn't unlocked yet but I'm wondering right now...

I have the Bonus file inside my Mass Effect 2 file, which includes three different files, Digital Art, Documentary, and Soundtrack. However, even though the different files in each of these exist, I cannot pull any of them up. Again, I think this could be because the game simply hasn't been unlocked, but then I wouldn't have these files in the first place then, would I?

Secondly, when the game is unlocked, where am I going to find the Cerberus Card Code for accessing the DLC, since it wasn't in the Bonus folder, along with the Armor/Weapons codes?

Lastly, and probably my least dumb-sounding question. How is the import of Mass Effect 1 save files going to work? Will it be done in game, via the main menu, or is the import going to have to be done outside of the game, via My Documents/My Computer, etc?

Thanks for bearing with my possibly stupid questions. :innocent:

1) I haven't ordered DDE's off of steam before, but I would assume they will be accessed like any games extra content which is by right clicking and then clicking on what you want. If this is not the case, it will most certainly be in the folder when the game unlocks.

2) All your keys for bonuses and the games own key will be found by right clicking the game and click "view game keys" or something like that. It will be an option after the game unlocks. Also, generally a window will open if you shift-tab with your game keys on first run.

3) ME1 games will most likely be done the same method as NG+ in ME1. It looks for ME, then expects your files to be where ME1 put them (i forget the exact layout off the top of my head).

1) DDE material is encrypted until the game unlocks

2) KBGeller nailed that one..once you unlock you will be able to right click on ME2 in the My Games tab and view all the associated CD-keys you need

3) Import is done using the Mass Effect configuration application. It'll copy the files over for you (at least thats what I did for the retail version) .The app is found under mass effect 2 / Tools I think (I also forget right now)

3) If you still have the ME1 Cache File intact and in 'My Documents':  Watch...
If you just have the bare save file: Read...
