I really wanted to test out all the abilities in the game (specially the mage abilities) because at end game I think your supposed to be 20+. With so many passives in each tree, i dont think we can max out more than 2 trees until you reach the end of the game.

And I've been struggling to choose abilities on my mage cause I want to play around a bit with each ability to see their worth but I cant, unless i have LOTS of gold to buy the respec necklaces or LOTS of time to reload a game several times(im still level 7 only) so i can always use the 1 gold (only 1 of those) respec necklace.

So i been looking into console commands but apparently the good stuff was taken out because of the multiplayer aspect of the game. So i went looking for trainers, and so far they are all covered by a bunch of adds and surveys and in the end you get nothing out of it.

I found 1 trainer that its free, and working, it only requires you to make an account in a forum (no money required, just a valid email, really simple). Ill post the link here, but let me warn you first if you want to give it a try:

DO NOT use the trainer for gameplay if you dont want to break immersion. At least dont do it on your first playthrough, because once you activate the trainer you will get instantly 50 points in Power. And deactivating the trainer doesnt take those away.

If you reload the game and shut down the trainer, you'll have your original points, but if you save the game after your first use of the trainer you will always have those 50 points. I dont like this because it gives you a way to get through the game much faster than intended by the devs and it could break immersion by a very big margin. But... use it at your discretion, i just thought some people would like to try this out, so I'm giving you the link.

If like me you just want to try out the abilities, I'd advise you to make a new toon, get him/her to Hinterlands and try it out as much as you want. And then go back to your main toon knowing exactly what kind of abilities you will want in your arsenal.

Have fun.

Trainers tend to flag stuff in your antivirus, and i think its because the way they are made its supposed to act like a virus, but its not (i dont know all that mumbo jumbo, just what i get from what people say about it in forums). I used it and had no problem, but cant assure you that you wont sorry. Be careful.
