This is going to sound crazy,but is there a death penalty?Or do you just revive and incur no penalty.

No death penalty. Except trying to stay alive since your health is close to zero when you revive.

I hope not.  I had a party wipe on the first fade rift.  On higher difficulties, there might be a limit to how many times a player may revive or a long cooldown period, though.
